Legend Around Cappadocia
LEGEND OF CAPPADOCIA
Three Beauties
Today, let's talk about the 3 beauties, one of the important symbols of Cappadocia. Today you will understand why they are called the Three Beauties.
According to the story, a king and a princess lived in Cappadocia. The king's beautiful daughter fell in love with a shepherd. The king learned about this situation and did not approve of this marriage. How could it be that his daughter had fallen in love with a shepherd? Opposing her father, the girl ran away from the palace and went to the shepherd. They had a child the night he left.
After this happened, the princess thought that her father would calm down when she learned that there was a child, but the King became even more angry when he learned that he would have a grandchild from a shepherd. He sent all his soldiers after his daughter and the shepherd and wanted to prevent them from escaping. At that moment, the Princess was praying that her family would not fall apart, her prayer turned into a miracle and the three of them turned into an immortal fairy chimney. This is where our story of the three beauties comes from.
According to legend, it is believed that if childless people turn around this rock 7 times, they will have children.
